High Court Recruitment 2026 – Selection Process

Candidates for both Safai Sewak and Mali posts will be selected on the basis of an Interview. Depending on the number of applications received, suitable shortlisting criteria may be applied before the interview stage, which will be communicated to candidates at the appropriate time. The Hon’ble High Court may modify or change the selection criteria at any stage.

E-Admit Cards for provisionally eligible candidates will be uploaded on www.highcourtchd.gov.in. Candidates will also receive Email/SMS. The photograph on the E-Admit Card must be duly attested by a Gazetted Officer/Self attested and must match exactly with the photograph uploaded in the online application; non-matching will result in disallowance at the interview venue.

No TA/DA will be paid to candidates for appearing in the Interview or for testimonials checking.

How to Apply for Punjab and Haryana High Court Safai Sewak & Mali Recruitment 2026

Candidates shall apply online only through the official website of the Punjab and Haryana High Court (www.highcourtchd.gov.in). No other mode of application will be accepted. Candidates wishing to apply for both posts must submit separate applications for each post.

Keep the following ready before filling the application form:

  • Personal details
  • Valid and active Email ID (to be kept unchanged throughout the process)
  • Valid and active mobile number (to be kept unchanged throughout the process)
  • Online payment facility (Internet Banking / Debit / Credit Card)
  • Scanned recent passport-size photograph (not more than 30 days old) against white background
  • Scanned signature

Documents to be produced at Testimonials Checking (as and when called by the High Court):

  • Printout of online Application Form
  • Proof of Date of Birth – Matriculation Certificate (for matriculate or above) or Birth Certificate from Registrar of Births and Deaths (for below Matric)
  • Qualification certificate(s) if any (Diploma in Gardening for Mali preference; experience proof for Safai Sewak preference)
  • Caste Certificate (EWS/SC/ST/BC) issued by competent authority of Punjab, Haryana, or U.T. Chandigarh as applicable; BC candidates must also carry latest BC certificate and Annexure I Declaration
  • No Objection Certificate in format (Annexure II) – for Government/Semi-Government/PSU/Corporation/Board employees
  • Affidavit (Annexure III) – regarding close relatives working in High Court/District Courts
  • Affidavit (Annexure IV) – regarding previous government employment(s)
  • Disability Certificate (min. 40% disability) – for PwD candidates
  • Discharge Book (self-attested complete copy) – for Ex-Servicemen
  • Proof of disability/death of parent during active operation – for dependents of Ex-Servicemen claiming fee exemption
