IBPS Clerk Recruitment 2026 The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has started the online application process for IBPS Clerk (Customer Service Associate) Recruitment 2026 to fill 11,403 vacancies across participating public sector banks. Eligible candidates can submit their application forms through 21st August 2026 at the official IBPS website. As per the official notification, the total vacancies are 11,403 across all states and union territories of India. These vacancies are to be filled across 11 participating Public Sector Banks like BOB, PNB, Canara Bank, BOM, UCO Bank, etc. Interested candidates should be within the age limit of 20 to 28 years and must have passed a Bachelor’s degree to be eligible.

A Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a University recognised by the Government of India, or an equivalent qualification recognised by the Central Government

IBPS Clerk 2026 Application Process
The IBPS Clerk 2026 application process involves online registration, uploading the required documents, and paying the application fee. Candidates should carefully review the application instructions before filling out the form and complete the submission by 21st August 2026.
Application Fee
The amount to be paid for the IBPS Clerk Application form is Rs. 850/- for General & Others and Rs. 175/- for SC/ST/PwD categories.
The application fee can be paid by internet banking, Debit/Credit Card, BHIM UPI, Mastercard, etc. Note that this fee is non-refundable.

The Last Date to apply is 21st August 2026, after which the window will close automatically.
IBPS Clerk Recruitment 2026 Selection Process
To get selected for the Clerk/Customer Service Associate post, candidates will have to go through the following exam stages:
Stage 1: Preliminary exam
The Preliminary Exam is the first stage of the selection process and is qualifying in nature. Candidates who secure the required sectional and overall cut-off marks are shortlisted for the Mains examination.
Stage 2: Mains exam
The Mains Examination pattern has been revised for this year is the most important stage, as the final merit list is prepared based on the marks obtained in this exam.
Stage 3: Local Language Test
Candidates shortlisted based on their Mains performance must appear for the Local Language Proficiency Test (LPT).
