NHPC Limited, a Mini Ratna Schedule-“A” Category-I Central Public Sector Undertaking invites application from eligible candidates for undergoing one-year apprenticeship training for the year 2023-24 under Apprentices Act, 1961 in the trades mentioned below:

*The relaxation in maximum age limit is 05 years for SC/ST; 03 years for OBC (Non-Creamy
Layer)

Stipend

Stipend will be as per Apprenticeship Act, 1961 and or as amended from time to time. The Apprentices will not be eligible for any other allowances or benefits.

Reservation

Reservation of seats for SC, ST, and OBC (Non creamy layer) will be as per the provisions of the Apprentices Act, 1961 and the rules framed thereunder as amended till date. According to which SC=14, ST=02 and OBC=11, total 27 seats will be reserved.

Preference will be given as under: –

a) Project Affected Families of Parbati-II HE Project will be given first preference.

b) People of Kullu District will be given Second preference.

c) People of Mandi District will be given third preference.

d) People of other District of Himachal Pradesh will be given fourth preference.

1.The above mentioned vacancies may increase or decrease as per the requirement of Project.

2. Candidates should be eligible with respect to age criteria and educational qualification as on closing date of advertisement. Result awaited candidates need not to apply.

3. Employment in NHPC: Candidates shall have no claim whatsoever as to any extension of training and/or employment in NHPC Limited.

4. No boarding/lodging & transportation shall be provided to any candidate by NHPC Limited.

How to Apply: –

a) The candidate must go through the Terms & conditions as mentioned in the Notification.

b) The candidate must have a valid Aadhar number, Mobile number & E-mail ID before applying for Apprenticeship. ITI Passed candidates should register themselves on Apprenticeship portal at https://apprenticeshipindia.org and apply through this portal. Diploma Holders /Graduate should register themselves on https://portal.mhrdnats.gov.in/boat/login/user_login.action The candidate has to take print out of registration/applied at portal and send along with all self-attested certificates of Educational qualification.

All relevant mark sheets and certificates ( viz. ITI/ Diploma /Graduation mark sheet, certificate, category certificate i.e SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/ PWD as applicable), Domicile certificate, Document certifying member of Project Affected Family (PAF), Copy of Aadhar card, Pan Card etc. to the below mentioned address by Speed post/ Registered post/ By-hand till 10/02/2023 (5:00 P.M) :-

5. Selection Process: The eligible candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of marks secured in ITI/Diploma/Graduation. The shortlisted candidates can be call for interview if required and offer will be send accordingly. The list of selected candidates will also be uploaded on the website of NHPC Limited i.e. www.nhpcindia.com.
