Junior Secretariat AssistantBachelor’s Degree from a recognized university, Computer Proficiency Test (Level-5), and Typing Speed Test (35 wpm in English or 30 wpm in Hindi, equivalent to 10,500 KDPH/9,000 KDPH, within 10 minutes).

The pay scales for various positions under the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) recruitment are as follows: Assistant Director positions offer a salary range of ₹56,100 to ₹1,77,500 at Level 10. Personal Assistant, Assistant Section Officer (ASO), Assistant (CAD), and Technical Assistant (Lab) positions are all at Level 6, with salaries ranging from ₹35,400 to ₹1,12,400. Stenographers and Senior Technicians, placed at Level 4, receive a salary range of ₹25,500 to ₹81,100. Junior Secretariat Assistants and Technicians, both at Level 2, have a salary range of ₹19,900 to ₹63,200.
