As of 04 August 2025, the age criteria are:
- General & SC/ST/BC (Other States): 18 to 27 years
- SC/ST/BC (Punjab, Haryana, U.T. Chandigarh): Relaxation of 3 years
- Ex-Servicemen: Age relaxation equal to years of defence service plus 3 years
- Employees of High Court/District Courts (Punjab/Haryana/Chandigarh): Relaxation up to 5 years based on service length

Chandigarh High Court Peon Recruitment 2025 Selection Process
The selection will be made based on the following stages:
- Practical Test (Cooking Skills): 80 marks (Minimum 50% required to qualify)
- Interview: 20 marks (Minimum 10 marks required to qualify)
The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of aggregate marks from both stages. The High Court reserves the right to apply shortlisting criteria if needed.
