CBSE Recruitment 2025 Selection Process

The selection process for recruitment of junior assistants and superintendents under the CBSE consists of multiple stages. The selection of candidates for Junior Assistants posts will be based on Tier 1 and Sill Test and for Superintendents posts candidates have to undergo the selection stage Tier 1, 2, and Skill Test.

Tier 1 – The Tier 1 exam consists of objective-type multiple-choice questions.
Tier 2 – The Tier 2 exam will be held for superintendent posts consisting of Objective type (OMR Based) and Descriptive (Written) Examinations.
Skill Test – Based on candidates’ performance in the Tier-1/Tier-2 exam, the candidates will be called for the Skill Test. The skill test/ typing test is qualifying in nature and no mark will be counted for the final merit list.

CBSE Junior Superintendent Exam Pattern 2025 for Tier 1

The CBSE Superintendent Tier 1 exam consists of an objective (MCQ) type (OMR Based) Examination.
In the Tier 1 exam a total of 150 MCQ) types will be asked for a total of 450 marks.
The time duration of the exam will be 2 hours.
For each correct answer, 3 marks will be rewarded and 1 mark shall be deducted for every incorrect answer.
The level of the Tier 1 exam will be Senior Secondary.
