Eligibility Criteria

Before applying, candidates must ensure they fulfill the eligibility criteria set by the SBI. To apply for the SBI PO 2025 exam, candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria:

1. SBI PO Age Limit

Minimum Age: 21 years
Maximum Age: 30 years (as of 01 April 2024)

Age relaxation is provided for candidates from reserved categories as per government norms:

SC/ST: 5 years
OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years
PWD: 10-15 years depending on the category

2.Educational Qualification

Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university or an equivalent qualification.

Note: Final-year students can also apply, provided they have to submit proof of passing the degree by the specified date.

3. Nationality

Must be an Indian citizen.
Subjects of Bhutan, Nepal, or Tibetan refugees who settled in India before 1 January 1962 are also eligible.

Application Fee

To complete the registration process, candidates need to successfully pay the application fess. Candidates can pay the fee through online payment methods such as debit cards, credit cards, or net banking. The application fee for SBI PO 2025 varies for different categories:

General/OBC/EWS: ₹750
SC/ST/PwBD: Exempted from the fee

SBI PO Prelims Exam Pattern 2025

In the major changes to the SBI PO 2025 exam pattern, the number of questions in certain sections has been increased, while others have seen a reduction. Similarly, in the Mains exam, the number of questions in some areas has been adjusted, and the time limit has been modified as well. The Prelims is the first stage of the SBI PO exam, conducted online.
It consists of 100 objective questions from English Language, Reasoning Ability, and Quantitative Aptitude.
The total marks for the Prelims exam are 100.
The time duration for the SBI PO Prelims Exam 2025 is 1 hour.
Candidates who meet the cut-off will move to the next round.
The Prelims exam is qualifying in nature and does not affect the final score.
There is negative marking: 1/4th of the marks are deducted for each incorrect answer.
