CSU Non Teaching Recruitment 2026 : Qualifications
1. College Librarian (4 Posts)
Master’s Degree in Library Science, Information Science, or Documentation Science from a recognized university (at least 55% marks)
Consistently good academic record with knowledge of library computerization
Must have cleared UGC NET, CSIR, or UGC-accredited tests (SLET/SET), OR awarded Ph.D. degree as per UGC regulations
Desirable: M.A. in Sanskrit, Knowledge of Hindi/English, Knowledge of epigraphy or manuscripts
Age: As per UGC norms
2. Section Officer (1 Post)
Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from recognized institute/university
3 years experience as Assistant (Level 6) OR 8 years as UDC (Level 4) in Central/State Govt., University, PSU, or reputed private companies (min. annual turnover Rs. 200 crores)
Proficiency in Computer Operation, noting, and drafting
Age: 35 years
3. Assistant (15 Posts)
Bachelor’s Degree from recognized university/institution
3 years experience as UDC (Level 4) in Central/State Government, University, PSU, or reputed private companies (min. annual turnover Rs. 200 crores)
Proficiency in Typing, Computer applications, noting, and drafting
Age: 35 years
4. Professional Assistant (1 Post)
Master’s Degree in Library & Information Science with 2 years experience in University/Research establishment/Govt./PSU library, OR
Bachelor’s Degree in Library/Library & Information Science with 3 years experience in relevant field
Knowledge of Computer Applications

5. Upper Division Clerk (UDC) (6 Posts)
Bachelor’s Degree from recognized institute/university
2 years experience as Lower Division Clerk (LDC) in University/Govt./PSU/Autonomous Bodies or reputed private companies
English Typing @ 35 wpm OR Hindi Typing @ 30 wpm
Proficiency in Computer Operations
